The Autumn Book Tag

I was tagged by Trisha @ The Bookgasm to do the Autumn Book Tag. I have some sort of disorganized book-tags queue lining up in front of this tag, but desperate times call for desperate measure. Since it’s nearly the end of autumn and in some parts of the world, fall’s already over (not that I have fall where I live), I’m giving this one a VIP pass and let it cut the queue.

Here we go!

1.What is your favorite thing about autumn?

I live in tropical country so I never actually experience autumn in real life. I do, however, really like seeing the colors of autumn (you know, from PICTURES).

2. What book reminds you of your school days?

Doctors by Erich Segal
I graduated from med school so… (sorry for not being creative. Hahaha.)

3. What cover reminds you of autumn?

harperGo Set A Watchman by Harper Lee
Confession time: I haven’t read this book, neither have I read To Kill A Mockingbird (blasphemy, I know)

4. What is your favourite horror or halloween story?

halHallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie
This is the only one I could think about. I always enjoy a good mystery book, but this one actually creeps me out so bad.

5. What is your favorite horror or halloween film?

ikwydI Know What You Did Last Summer
I’ll go with the classic.
Wait, what? It’s not a classic? I’m sorry, but I was a teenager when Freddie Prinze Jr was in every teen movie. This is the one that started it all. I still watch it when it’s on TV.

6. What fall book release are you looking forward to?

winterI am going to say Winter by Marissa Meyer even though it has been released.
I mean, I haven’t bought the book so technically I’m still looking forward to it, right? :p

7. What autumn movie release are you anticipating?

Mockingjay Part 2Β and The Peanuts Movie.
Again, I haven’t watched both so I am still in anticipation mode. It still counts, yes?

8. What are the three books you plan to read this autumn?

warbrcressswrd

I have two books left in my November TBR. *shifty eyes* I do think I will read something else first, probably Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. I am also planning to read Cress by Marissa Meyer and finish Magnus Chase and The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. *cough I’d probably end up reading something else cough*

  1. VIP pass –> I love that!

Yey we’re tropical buddies! Which country did you hail from,Windie? πŸ˜€

Wow! So all this time I was talking to a doctor?! How can you be a blogger and study all those med stuff all at once??! That’s just awesome! That was actually my frustration. I planned to take medicine after college but well, my fears got the better of me.

    1. I’m from Indonesia. o/ yay to tropical buddies. πŸ™‚

lol no worries, I don’t want to make a big deal out of it.
Haha I didn’t. I started to blog after I graduated. Let’s just say this is my escape from daily life. πŸ˜‰

Some of my uni friends actually went to Manila to continue their training after they graduated. I hear you guys have a good med school.

      1. Ahh yes. We’d be crazy if we don’t escape outlets such as these.
Oh well some med schools in Manila are good though the common reason for foreigners getting an exchange program/ enrolling here is bc of the cheap cost. πŸ˜€

  2. Thank you so much for the tag! Can’t wait to do it πŸ˜€ I haven’t read Go Set a Watchman yet either, so I can’t vouch for that one, but definitely read To Kill a Mockingbird! It is an absolutely fantastic novel; my all-time favorite <3

  3. Autumn is a lovely time of year for those of us who have it, but winter makes me very jealous of those who live in tropical countries! I don’t know what book cover reminds me most of autumn–I read e-books mostly and don’t see covers that often–but Anne of Green Gables is the book that reminds me the most of the season. Anne loved her Octobers. So do I.
